Another 8 hour day

Today was interesting. After working an 8 hour shift yesterday I was called in today for another 8 hours. Can I just say customers are crazy? After working here I will try and be as polite as possible realizing that this worker has probably had to deal with 3 other crazies before me. It's a craft store and everything should be happy right? Ha yeah okay.

I had an interaction with my first crazy/angry customer. A guy comes in looking to find a certain jewelry piece that he had bought the week before and have now apparently sold out of. He wants to buy the display piece that is marked *not for sale*. I run it buy my manager just to be sure because sometimes our displays can be and to satisfy the customer. But when I tell he no, he gets really angry and loud and demands to see the manger. She laid down the law like I had never seen. That part was awesome. This guy however continues to complain to whomever will listen and we hide the display piece to make sure he wont steal it. It was a shame that he was acting like an asshole because as my friend H**** said, he was quite attractive. My advice to you sir: do not wait until the last minute to buy a gift for your girlfriend and always when dealing with jewelry, but more than you need too avoid being *that guy*.
